About Me

Hi, my name is Mark and I am here to share my story with you. I am proud to call myself an entrepreneur, a networker and a business coach. I teach people how to make money within the technology industry. I have been able to get myself to a place in life where I can do what I love and that is to help and support people to work towards achieving their dreams and goals.

My Story

Throughout my higher educational and working life I have looked at, studied for and worked in a range of different industries, never really knowing what was right for me. That all started to change in July 2012. First though let us begin nearer the beginning.

Looking back over my childhood I realised I displayed an entrepreneur, business mind-set on multiple occasions, wanting to earn my own money. Other than having a newspaper round for a short while, I had setup a car washing round with a good friend around the age of 10-12. This proved to be fairly successful for a while, until we decided to split the business and go our own ways.

Determined to not let this stop me, I remember heading out one day, with a notebook and a pen in my pocket, knocking on every door for several blocks in every direction, asking the home owners if they wanted their car washed. In one single day I managed to book over 30 appointments for the coming week.

A few years later when my father started his own business, which involved having a stall at car boot sales, I again looked for an opportunity to earn some money. I remember getting up around 4am on a Sunday morning so we could get to the site and setup for around 5:30am. With it being dark and cold I would walk around looking at the stalls with my torch seeing what I could find. I remember finding 2 games for a console on sale for £5. I decided to buy these, returned to my fathers stall and priced them both up for £5 each.

Within a few hours, both games had been sold and I had doubled my money. This was the start of my next venture. Over the next couple of years, I continued to do this, attending 2, sometimes 3 car boot sales a week (depending on school holidays), buying and selling games and consoles. This stopped though when my father closed down his business.

My next venture didn't start until my early/mid 20s when I looked to create a computer game. Having written a 60 page game design document, I went out seeking programmers, graphic designers, 3d modellers, sound engineers to work on the project. Progress was going well until several months into the development our lead programmer could no longer continue to work. Due to the lack of experience with the other programmer and difficultly finding a replacement we had to stop the project

From my early 20s I had begun taking up martial arts and around my mid 20s I had achieved a high grade. I began to assist my instructor with classes and courses for different organisations and fell in love with teaching what I considered to be an important life skill.

My business mind-set once again started to ignite and I began working on plans to run a self-defence course/class of my own as well as teach one on one. Again however an obstacle came about, being able to run the courses and classes required a second instructor/assistant and the person who I had discussed this opportunity with unfortunately had to relocate due to other work commitments.

Then in 2012, when I was in my late 20s I had another business idea; a website directory to help people find local instructors across the UK from a wide range of different disciplines. With no such directory currently available I knew I had something. Using my web development skills that I had learnt from college I started a business. Over the next 5-6 years I continued to evolve the website, run the marketing and sales. Providing over 1700 instructors with a place to promote their business and seeing nearly 2 million views the website received a certain level of success. However it wasn't enough for me. So I began to look for something else.

Having received numerous messages online from people partnered with over 15 different companies I heard about one in particular that really stood out to me. After watching a two min video, I was very intrigued. Not only was it something completely different but it covered two areas that I had interest in; technology and health. After learning more about the company and the opportunity and doing my own research I took the step and I found myself entering the world of network marketing. A world that I had previously misunderstood.
